ADAMCO will launch a full line of AGI Milltec machines that can perform end-to-end rice processing activities from cleaning, de-stoning, hulling, de-husking, whitening, polishing, grading, sorting, blending, and packing. ADAMCO also eyes helping existing rice millers to sustain their agribusinesses by offering them single machines to upgrade their existing equipment, as well as supplying them consumable rice mill spare parts to sustain their operations.
AGI Milltec manufactures premium and high recovery rate rice milling machines with a minimum capacity of three (3) tons up to 30 tons per hour. AGI is a Canada listed company and is a leading provider of equipment solutions for agriculture. It has installed over 13,000 mills in India within a span of 20 years and is expanding globally beyond India to South-East Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and Latin America.
“We are very excited with this partnership as ADAMCO has a wide branch network to help us penetrate the Philippine market. We’ve been used to having agents in different countries to sell our products, but this is our first time to partner with a company and appoint them as dealer,” says Mr. Rustom Mistry, senior vice president of AGI in Asia Pacific.
ADAMCO is the largest dealer of agricultural equipment in the Philippines with 37 branches and extension outlets. It started as a local manufacturer of corn shelling equipment in Isabela in the 1990s. ADAMCO sells agri-machinery by presenting not just as an agri-machine but as a business for farmers. ADAMCO also pioneered a cropping-based amortization to make high value machines more affordable for farmers.
In 2015, ADAMCO has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Yanmar in the Philippines offering its advanced agri-machinery technology, such as rice/corn combine harvesters, tractors and rice transplanters.
ADAMCO continues to partner with world leaders of agricultural technologies to provide more agribusiness opportunities in securing food, from plan to plough, to plate of Filipino consumers.
